i forgot how much i love them. january can sometimes be a depressing time of year for me. the holidays are over, we're missing family terribly, nothing really exciting to look forward to. luckily, the 75 degree weather is helping me cope and i think i will make it. this is our 3rd winter in arizona and i have just forgotten how wonderful they are! since school hasn't started back up yet for me and jeff's rotation hasn't been too time consuming, we've tried to enjoy some of this beautiful weather by hiking and going on bike rides. we both agreed that we could do 6 weeks of snow and the cold and spend the rest of the winter months in phoenix the rest of our lives. and since this could be our last arizona winter, (sad thought) we are soaking it all up.
welcoming sunshine for the next 3 months is so much easier than snow. my mom told me the other day that the inversion is starting to set in utah... so come visit us and the beautiful weather! :)

I totally know what you mean about Phoenix winters. I miss them so much. The inversion in Salt Lake is digusting. I'm one of those people who has to stay indoors when it gets really bad.
I had a layover in Phoenix today and almost started crying. I miss San Lagos so much! That pool was the best.

Oh, that is SO beautiful! It's kind of depressing here. I feel so couped up all of the time. And even worse, it's cold but it's not snowing. It's just cold. I would LOVE to come visit you guys!! Maybe we can make it work this year in the spring sometime. Oh, that would be so fun!
I must agree! There is nothing better than AZ in the winter. But I'll even take our whole SWELTERING hot summer over just a few weeks of FREEZING snow. I love that there is a chick laying out in your pic! It's JANUARY! :)
I love you pictures of the snow! There's nothing like a white Christmas but, with that being said, I will miss our AZ winters too once we're not here any more!
I agree winter here is definately the best. My mom said that yesterday I think the high up there was around 30 as we are enjoying the wonderful 75 degree weather I don't miss that at all.
when can i come visit? lol that so nice to have it be nice and warm! now its just ugly here hasn't snowed forever and its all brown and hard!

that's how cali was for us when we came back from christmas! awesome huh! i bet there's even more of a distance when i get there wed from cali to africa! we'll see!
