so long midwestern

after 4 years of hard work, jeff graduated from midwestern university on june 4th. such a fun day with lots of emotions. it marked the ending of a chapter in our lives and the start of a new. i'm so proud of jeff. the road of becoming a doctor is quite the sacrifice. it takes a certain kind of person to dedicate themselves to all the hard work and studying med school demands.

we made so many life long friends who became like family to us on this journey and we miss not seeing them on a regular basis. the night before there was a dinner for all the graduates and family. here is our close group of friends. can't imagine going through it without them.

jeff's parents also came to the dinner. it was so nice to have them there.

miss this girl.

congratulations dr. gardiner!!!

here come the tears.

My favorite is watching Sophie gradually fall asleep in the pictures post graduation. :) She is a doll. What a fabulous day!! I was a bit emotional at Nate's for his Master's, and that isn't nearly as many years as med school! It's just as much your accomplishment as his. How wonderful you had such close friends to do it with. Hope you are adjusting well in AK!

Tell your friends that you're not living in Alaska! :) (AK)
