so remember when i used to blog? or kind of used to...? yeah it's not even funny how long it's been. from the end of april to before we moved we had so many things going on that i just never got around to blogging. then you add a move in there, my usual procrastination and just life in general to the formula and you get no blogging for a few months. and sometimes after it's been so long i start to not care so much if i blogged about every little thing, but i don't care how long it's been. this recent chapter of our lives has been a big one and there are just certain special things that i don't ever want to forget.
ok. here we go.
the end of april we took a little trip on over to the happiest place on earth with some of our friends from med school. it was kind of our "last hurrah" or "senior trip" i guess you could call it before we all moved away and started residency. it hasn't even been that long and yet the memories from that trip are such special ones that i know we will treasure forever. i am so happy we decided to all go and make it happen. we had so much fun! and the best part was that we got our tickets for $12 by volunteering through disney's "give a day, get a day" program. (thanks to our friend rachel for the idea!) all we had to do was put together some boxes of school supplies for teachers and we were given a free day at disneyland. great way to get people to volunteer. and i wish we still lived close enough to drive to california...
