no shame

being pregnant brings a journey of first time experiences, one after another. the past few weeks i think i've doubled in size as well as uncomfortableness. which recently has caused some first timers for me.

for example, i never thought i'd feel absolutely no shame in asking my husband:

"can you tie my shoes for me?"

or about being offered to sit in the handicap pew at stake conference (note: handicap pew = soft bench where my feet actually touch the ground and therefore do not swell near as much)

or not wearing your wedding ring for fear you may have to saw it off your fat little sausage fingers.

or double checking the tums label to make sure you didn't overdose...

no shame, right??

i think this 3rd trimester is doing a good job of getting me "ready".

hoping this is the last belly shot... large and in charge at 36.5 weeks:

I totally sat in the handicapped pew today!! Is it really shorter than the rest? I felt like I couldn't see anything when I sat down, but it was better than the hard metal chair!

You better have atleast ONE more belly shot. It's so fun to look back at those. One day you might miss that little basketball. "No shame" continues after baby comes. No shame in going through all of church covered in baby's spit-up. No shame in sleeping on your peed- on sheets, cause you're just too dang tired at 3am to change them. I'm so stinkin' excited for yoU!!

You have the cutest little belly! I love it! I am so sad I missed your baby shower, but we had tickets to Mary Poppins and you know how Cali LOVES her "poppi." We miss you so much and the girls are begging to have you come over before you are a mommy. I think they are secretly a little jealous that you will have a little girl of your own to replace them! Let's try to get together before the big day and if not, I will definetely be coming to visit you to hold your little bundle. LOVE YA! Hang in there. I personally think husbands should tie our shoes all the time, pregnant or not!

I dunno if this is true but does carrying high make heart burn worse? I love that you checked the overdosage amount on tums- lol! You're uncomfortable but she's coming and she will be so sweet! My only advice is to not worry and just cuddle her and love her. I worried too much!
