i know he's not gonna like this post, but i have to give a shout out to my sweet husband for this past week! or maybe past couple months...
there has been some serious role reversal going on at the gardiner pad lately! this past week for me has been extremely busy and stressful with school alone. so naturally, the combination of school and work together = more stress. duh, right? i know this is obviously something that is inevitable when you are working and going to school, but i still complain... i had lots of tests and lots of assignments last week and this week's not looking much better.
last week i didn't make dinner once, do the laundry, go to the grocery store, clean or do any typical roles a housewife would normally do. but guess who gladly DID without even being asked? my sweet lover dover! so he definitely deserves some credit. he probably just got sick of the house being a mess! this semester has been so busy for me, and this rotation really hasn't been too busy for jeff. and i'm grateful for that. poor guy. last week i got up and went to work in the morning before he even woke up, got home after he did and went to bed after he did. so he pretty much makes all the meals, does the laundry, cleans the house, goes to the grocery store, and i go to school and work. i guess you could call me mrs. breadwinner and jeff mr. housewife for now. oh he'd just love that... j/k he'd actually really hate it. so don't!
i'm so lucky that i'm able to finish school and that i have a husband who supports me in that. i am grateful for everything he does for me. i think he's a keeper!
i know i have some long hours of school work ahead of me, and i am anxiously waiting for the school week to be over already and for a break. jeff's family will get here just in time for that much needed break this weekend. can't wait to see you guys!

Oh, I am so sorry you have been so busy! It really is a good thing Jeffrey has some time to help out. I'm glad he has been so helpful. You deserve to just be able to focus on school and work. I am proud of you!!
Wow, my hubby doesn't even know where the laundry room and dishwasher are;) That's awesome you're so devoted to school Hil. Good luck this week and have fun with the in-laws!
ah i bet jeff is a good housewife. :-) I'm sure he understands how much you have going on, and props to him on stepping in to relieve some stress for you, atta boy. I hope your schoolwork and work work goes well and slows down a little for ya
Poor Hilary! I didn't know you were so stressin'! All I can say is YAY for marrying someone who will step in. It's really important for them to understand a woman's role and for us to understand what we do, too. For now, ace your test and then eat chocolate. :)
sis... i know how you feel... poor wade has been suffering with no wife syndrome for two years now... but our house still looks a mess... :) just think: it'll be over before you know it and we'll look back on these days and remember... "remember when we never saw each other... and you cooked and cleaned and yada yada.." that will be the day. enjoy it while it lasts. have fun with the inlaws!
I am sorry you have been so busy!! I am so glad Jeff voluntarily did all those things!! What a great hubby!
Jeff is so awesome! I am sure he will be the same with kids too, Brian is and I love it! That sucks your so busy!
That is SO sweet of Jeff. I'm so sorry you've been stressed. I remember what that was like! School is a lot of work--I for one, don't know how in the world you do it all! Hang in there!
Hil you are so cute! I am jealous...like Mar...my hubby seems to think the laundry room is this mythical land. ;)
isn't working and going to school fun?? NOT! It's so hard to juggle both. That's so awesome that Jeff picked up the slack for a little while. That's being a team, right? :) And now he'll probably appreciate all you do more because it's not easy stuff to keep up on! Good luck with all of your school stuff. I feel for ya!
p.s. Jake has already asked about your little sister. :) We'll for sure set them up. We could be related!! cool!!
